Understanding Overall Score Calculation Follow
Purpose
This guide explains how the overall score is calculated, how it works across locations and connections, and how you can customize it by changing data filters and editing parameters.
Features and Capabilities
- Overall Score Calculation: The overall score is based on the cumulative data from the connected locations' scorecards and their specific goals. This calculation aggregates performance across various criteria defined in the scorecards.
- Customization Options: Users can adjust the score by applying filters like date range, location, connection, and other parameters.
Usage Guidelines
1. Is the Overall Score Calculated per Location?
The overall score is not calculated per location or connection but for all locations connected to the system at a given time. A cumulative score reflects the combined data from all connected locations on a scorecard. For example, if four locations are connected, the overall score reflects data from all four locations rather than an individual score.
2. Can I change the data that filters into my overall score?
You can change the data influencing the overall score by adjusting several filters. Some of the available filters include:
- Date Range: You can change the date range for which the overall score is calculated (e.g., last month, last three months, or this year).
- Specific Locations: You can select particular locations in the score calculation instead of all connected locations.
3. Can I Edit the Parameters of My Overall Score?
Yes, you can edit several parameters that will affect the overall score. These include:
- Date Range Filters: Adjusting the period for which the score is calculated.
- Location Filters: Filtering by specific locations to calculate the score for only those selected locations.
- Other Filters include filtering by the number of years a location has been open, filtering by state, or filtering based on Responsible Party (RP) if configured.
- Score Range Filters: You can filter by score range, such as seeing only the locations with a score greater than 0.7 (green), between 0.4 and 0.7 (yellow), or less than 0.4 (red).
Troubleshooting and Support
- If your overall score does not change after adjusting the filters, ensure the selected locations or date ranges have valid data. For example, if you choose a date range with no available data, the score may not update or display as expected.
- If the Responsible Party (RP) filter is not functioning, check whether the RP is configured for the specific scorecard.
